About Us
Recorder MusicMail, a division of Peacock Press, is a specialist in the supply of music for the recorder. A partner division, Jacks Pipes and Hammers, supplies sheet music for early musicians, players of the viola da gamba and harpsichord, both modern and facsimile editions. Established for over ten years, it has on its staff highly qualified colleagues who can advise on all aspects of the selection of both sheet music and instruments. If the piece or edition that you want does not appear in our catalogue, please email us and we will try to get it for you. We pride ourselves on sourcing the music that you want to play. We carry a representative selection of recorders by Dolmetsch, Blezinger, Coolsma and Aura. Instruments range from school to the best hand-made. Peacock Press publishes The Recorder Magazine, Harpsichord and Fortepiano, Early Music Performer, the Early Music Yearbook and Primary Music Today. While mainly mail-order, visits are welcome during the working week by appointment. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
